About me

It’s nice to meet you.

Last updated December 2022.

A bit about me:

I’m an obsessive learner, servant leader, and ruckus maker who is trying to make a dent in the world. I love being surrounded by great people, and working on projects that have the chance to make a scaled impact.

I started my career as a product-driven marketer, but now focus on operations and helping leaders scale their vision. Here is an overview of my career:

  • I grew up helping my family run their restaurant in central N.J. From a young age I was folding napkins, peeling produce, and serving customers. Everyone should work as a waiter(ess), it teaches you a lot.
  • At 15 I earned my Eagle Scout.
  • After high school I went to Fordham, where I studied finance, ran a fairtrade/microfinance business, managed a million dollars of the school’s endowment, and spent a year in China. I entered the school at the start of the ’08 financial crisis – and learned about Bitcoin through the Occupy movement
  • I opted not to pursue a career in banking – much to my parent’s chagrin – and instead spent a year teaching English in Sri Lanka as a Fulbrighter. The Fulbright was an amazing experience. If you’re interested in applying you should read my guide.
  • I interned with Seth Godin. It was an intense two weeks; I was surrounded by capable, intelligent individuals. We built something really special, and launched Krypton.cc into the world.
  • After that I joined Mentored.com as their first employee and head of product. When I started it was a ppt deck and in 3 years we launched 3 products, scaled to over 500 tutors and 65k students, and helped to improve 1:1 learning.
  • Then I joined Barnes & Noble Ed, helping them to launch BNED Courseware, Learning Analytics, and their first b2c product. We acquired several entities and launched products that impacted over 100k students in their first academic year.
  • I fell down the Crypto rabbit hole and joined ConsenSys – the world’s leading Ethereum Venture Production Studio as the marketing lead and founding team on Cellarius – a collaborative decentralized storytelling platform. After that project blew up, I led the tokenization efforts for Spencer Dinwiddie’s SD26 token.
  • I currently serve as Chief of Staff at Blocknative. I joined the team prior to launching our first product at ETH Denver in 2019 and was the first full-time employee post our seed round. We are now leading the charge for Ethereum Block Building.
  • In addition to Blocknative, I advise two web3 startups – Spritz and Nifty Apes.
