It’s nice to meet you.
Thanks for stopping by my home on the interwebs and having a look around.
A bit about me.
I’m an obsessive learner, servant leader, and ruckus maker who is trying to make a dent in the world. I love being surrounded by great people, and working on projects that have the chance to make a scaled impact.
There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you’re engaging with others and helping them do their best work. I strive to create environments for growth and help turn on the light for others.
I’m the head of product (and first employee) at Mentored.com where we are working to make 1:1 tutoring accessible to every student, every day.
I grew up helping my family run their restaurant in central N.J. From a young age I was folding napkins, peeling produce, and serving customers. Everyone should work as a waiter(ess), it teaches you a lot.
At 15 I earned my Eagle Scout.
After high school I went to Fordham, where I studied finance, ran a fairtrade/microfinance business, managed a million dollars of the school’s endowment, and spent a year in China. It was neat.
I opted not to pursue a career in banking – much to my parent’s chagrin – and instead spent a year teaching English in Sri Lanka as a Fulbrighter. The Fulbright was an amazing experience. If you’re interested in applying you should read my guide.
